MEET OUR FOUNDER

Genet Amare, Esq.

Genet Amare is the founder and Chief Counsel at Amare and Associates PLLC. She brings more than a decade of experience working with DC Government agencies, with expertise in FOIA, union labor relations, government filings, and other compliance requirements.

Amare also has experience in the DC charter school sector, supporting charter leaders and operations staff with compliance and applicable DC and federal regulations, employment, contracts, reporting, risk management, crisis management, transparency, and coordination of charter authorizer requirements.

She has a Master’s in Business Administration and a law degree from the David A Clarke School of Law at UDC, and is licensed to practice law in Washington, DC and Maryland.
